School Wide Field Trip - Dec 14

December 14. A day we will long remember in K2 as the first school wide field trip. Once the show started, no pictures were permitted. But just sitting in the big theater at Casa Mañana in Ft. Worth was worth the long ride.












Coming and going is half the fun. After the show, it was back on board for the ride home. Whew, that was exhausting.

Elmcroft Senior Living

It's hard to say what we enjoyed more: our very first ride on a school bus OR singing and card-giving to the seniors at Elmcroft. Our children showed CARING from the minute they stepped in the door and even met the 100 year old resident, Gladys.

Fabric

In science we are studying FABRIC. There are so many colors, textures, weaves and styles involved. Making fabric collages proved to be an engaging and effective way to learn, especially because tearing and cutting fabric delights them.
Who knew we would use 4 of our 5 senses to study fabric?
