Oh what fun we had explaining our holiday homework. There are many different winter holidays K2 students celebrate and we love to share the traditions with classmates!

What Is Missing?

Following an observation walk around the school to look for shapes in our everyday environment, we use our shapes knowledge and memory to play a challenging math game called, "What is Missing?"

Thanksgiving Feast

After a singing performance in costumes we made ourselves, it was time for a fabulous feast. Both the sweet performance and the delicious meal were made with love. We are especially thankful for our families.

Buddy Class

We have partnered with Mrs. Cockrell's second grade class for a new approach to learning. Having older friends to communicate and collaborate with is so much fun. We explained our Thinking Maps to the second graders and they read a few pages of their favorite book to us. We can't wait to do it again. Ask your child to tell you the name of their second grade buddy!

Book Fair

The Lakeside library has been transformed into the fabulous Scholastic Book Fair. We filled out our "Wish List".
