Trick Or Treat

Mrs. Keith was so happy to greet the K2 princesses, army men, witches and other fabulous costumes before the neighborhood trick-or-treating started. Could these adorable children trick you?

Scarecrow Day

To wrap up our study of fall and scarecrows, we had a wonderful
time dressing up and parading around the school for everyone to see. Too bad these scarecrows couldn't scare anyone, though. The day was filled with fun activities in all the kinder classes and included making a scarecrow snack.

Another Celebrity Citing

Once again, a distinguished guest visited K2 to read a special book. This week we were excited to welcome Judy Barbo, one of the newest members of the CISD Board of Trustees. Not only did Mrs. Barbo delight us with a classic fall book, we gave her some ideas about how to spend district money to make Lakeside better. Some genius ideas we came up with included: our own swimming pool at Lakeside, more iPads and more time to eat lunch.

Mystery Reader

Team Impact

Mr. Jeff and Big Randall are two of the world's strongest men. Today they wowed us with their strength and their strong words AGAINST DRUGS. Ripping a phone book in half. Blowing up a hot water bottle til it pops. Crushing a full soda can with bare hands. Breaking a baseball bat in two. Feats of mighty muscle for sure, but their words about dreams were just as powerful.
