Reading Camp

Even though it's summer, it's never too hot to have fun reading in the sun.  Look at what Reading Camp brings at Mrs. Keith's house.  We read in big moving boxes, hammocks, couches and with flashlights. And we always delight in hearing the cuckoo clock each hour. :)

Memories for a Lifetime

There are few words to describe this amazing quilt given to me by K2 parents and children for an end of year gift.  Each piece of fabric has a picture that symbolizes something we learned or experienced together.  Dinosaurs, life cycle, Dr. Seuss, Texas, patterns, and the list goes on.  This beauty was made with love by one student's grandmother.  And I couldn't love it any more!  Thank you for an absoutely wonderful and memorable year together.  And to those rising first graders I have only this to say:  You BETTER come back and see me next year.  Don't forget about kindergarten when you get wrapped up in all that first grade fun.
