The holiday season is full of fun and surprise and these two Mystery Readers REALLY proved the point with costumes and cookie treats! Thanks, moms!

Grandma's recipe delivered with love, shaped like a mitten to accompany the book of the same name!

Traveling Teddy

Look where the K2 mascot, Traveling Teddy, is spending the holiday. Here he is in Guatamala. He's also making a trip to Sea World in San Antonio next week.  Ahhh.....the life!

Frozen Friday

When you can't make snow angels or real snowmen, just use your eco-ideas and save the Earth while having winter fun. It's twice the fun when we partner with our second grade buddies!

Happy Music

Every year the CMS North band and choir come to Lakeside and entertain us with their amazing talents. There was a little surprise this year too.

It's a special treat and especially rewarding when K2 alum are part of this musical magic. How can these students be in middle school already when they were JUST in my classroom?

Holiday Party

Let the good times roll! It's party time in K2, with or without snow!

Teachable Moment

We don't get many days like this, so when fog rolls in, we roll out. Outside that is. We have to look at, feel, talk and write about it. Everyone loves this unplanned science lesson!

We can barely see Kroger!!

Knit 1, Purl 2

Our fabulous librarian, Mrs. Bredberg, teaches us all sorts of interest things about books, authors and language. But today K2 was treated to her teaching us a new language: knitting direction. Look at these symbols! How does she turn this into a beautiful, cozy scarf? It's a perfect connection to our science studies now as we learn about "Fabric".

The Feast

Our Kinder tradition of customs, song and family! The perfect hat trick of happiness.

We Are Thankful

Everyone in K2 made a turkey feather with words and pictures to show
what we're thankful for. Put them all together and we've got one collosal
THANKFUL bird!  It was unanimous: We are thankful for K2.

Turkeys Are Everywhere

Look at these fun & tasty works of art made by food masters
in our cafeteria.

Such a treat to get a sneak peek at a first grade Thanksgiving skit.
Thanks, Mrs. Conn's class, for inviting us.
