Look Who Came to Reading Camp

Look! It's Mrs. McCown, a beloved Lakeside teacher who made an appearance today at Reading Camp as Mystery Reader.  She read the beloved FLAT STANLEY, a perennial favorite in second grade. Mrs. McCown talked about the "wonders" she has as a reader. And we all wondered how she got to be such an amazing reader.

Summer Reading Camp @ Mrs. Keith's

School is out but there's plenty of fun at Mrs. Keith's Reading Camp. It rained Monday so we curled up under blankets and read outside listening to the gentle pitter patter.  The book titled RAIN was a big hit. Tuesday we read in big moving boxes and the hammock. Tomorrow there's a special Mystery Reader. Could reading be any more fun?
